Mary Porter
Intervention Specialist
Lowell Campus

Mary Porter was born in Kansas City, Kansas and has been a lover of travel her whole life. Having lived in Eugene, Oregon most of her life, Mary has also lived in Indonesia, Singapore, England and Portland, Oregon. She was gifted a deep rooted love of traveling and adventures at a young age. Mary has a degree in Sociology and a minor in Special Education and a focus in Early Childhood Education from University of Oregon. For over a decade, she has been a tutor and caregiver and loves connecting with students, teachers and their families to help support students educational and behavioral growth. Mary has experience in various classroom settings and supportive teacher roles, but her favorite was providing interventions at Ridgeline Montessori and working with various teachers and students.

In her free time Mary enjoys spending time with her son, gardening, crafting and exploring the Oregon coast. Summers are filled with lots of family camping trips, adventuring Oregon trails with friends and finding gorgeous sunset spots to let her dog run free. Mary is incredibly excited to be part of the BCA Growth Team this year and is looking forward to having her son be part of the BCA program as well.
