BCA Staff Details

Laurie was born and raised in Oregon. She has a degree in Merchandising/Marketing from Oregon State University and her Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. She is excited to help families excel at BCA with an individualized curriculum. This year Laurie returns to BCA for her sixth year. Prior to becoming a curriculum coordinator she worked for five years as a Learning Coordinator in grades 5th-8th grade. Outdoor education is a passion that she loves to share with families. She is a certified archery instructor with the National Archery in the Schools Program and a certified National Outdoor Leadership School Wilderness First Responder. In her free time she can be found hiking, backpacking, biking, playing with her Mini Australian Shepherd or cheering on the OSU Beavers with a college aged daughter. Laurie is excited to partner with families and has a strong desire to help students accomplish their individual goals.
